Alhaji Grusah, the owner of King Faisal Football Club, has announced that the club will appeal the decision to dismiss their protest case against Tamale City.
The Kumasi-based club lodged a complaint against their Ghana Premier League opponent, alleging that they fielded an unqualified player, Isaac Mensah, who they claim has another registration in the system as Jireh Kojo Nissi.
However, the Disciplinary Committee of the Ghana FA reviewed the case and ultimately rejected the protest, affirming that the player was indeed eligible to participate in the match against King Faisal. Dissatisfied with the committee's ruling, Alhaji Grusah stated in an interview with Akoma FM that his club intends to appeal the decision.
He emphasized their determination to pursue the matter further, even if it means taking it to the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS), in order to ensure that justice is served. Alhaji Grusah made it clear that they will continue to fight for their cause and seek a fair resolution.
"We will appeal the ruling and, if necessary, proceed to CAS to ensure that justice is done. This case will be heard before the remaining games are played in the Ghana Premier League," Alhaji Grusah asserted.
