Head coach of Real Tamale United, Abdul Mumin Abdulai feels they have a young team and are facing a serious inexperience problem but strongly believes they will climb up from the danger zone very soon.

The 'Wey Una' outfit had their losing streak extended to four after succumbing to a painful 1-0 loss to giants Asante Kotoko last Sunday night in Kumasi.

The game was really a tough one with the Blues fighting very well from onset but unfortunately conceded a late penalty which was converted by Steven Mukwala to cause them a point in Kumasi.

The defeat has seen them dropped to the 17th position on the league log with only 14 points after 15 matches and will hope to roll up their socks in subsequent matches to get themselves back on track.

Speaking in a post-match interview, the enterprising tactician expressed dissatisfaction with their performance and added his team is full of youngsters and will come good going forward.

"I think it is early days yet. When you consider the league log, the points are just on one another. We still have two home matches before the end of the first round. If we are able to put things in order, I think we will come out of that drop zone.” He said.

“We need to get some other players to complement the effort of those players. We have a young team so the immaturity is what is affecting our play so we go in for more players.” He added.

Real Tamale United will host Great Olympics in the next round of matches on Friday, December 29, 2023.
