World football governing body, FIFA, has ordered Medeama SC to pay over GHC 100,000 outstanding entitlements to former forward Amed Toure for breaching their contract with the Ivorian.
FIFA directed that, failure, on the part of Medeama, to pay the outstanding compensation within 45 days will result in the sanctioning of the Ghana Premier League side from registering players both locally and internationally.
According to the verdict by sole judge, Dana Al-Noaimi, Medeama are to pay his outstanding remuneration of GHC 60,900 and GHC 40,600 as compensation for breaching their contract.
Amed Toure resorted to the take his grievances to the FIFA Dispute Resolution Chamber after Medeama failed to settle his outstanding entitlements before terminating his contract.
The former Asante Kotoko striker joined Medeama in 2021 before his contract was ripped off in 2022 due to alleged indiscipline.
The 35-year-old scored three goals in eighteen games in the 2021/22 season, after netting five times in ten games in the season prior, for the Yellow and Mauves.
