Head coach of Vision FC, Nana Kwaku Agyemang has criticised his players’ attitude following their 2-0 loss to Heart of Lions in the Ghana Premier League.

The Eewo Boys were beaten on Sunday in their Matchday 28 fixture at the Kpando Stadium, where the home side took control early in the game.

Kelvin Asenso opened the scoring in the 11th minute after a strong start from Heart of Lions. Michael Ephson then finished off a well-worked move to double the lead before half-time, giving the hosts a comfortable advantage at the break.

No additional goals came in the second half, as Heart of Lions held on to secure victory.

Speaking after the match, Agyemang said his side fell short in the opening stages due to a lack of urgency.

“I think in the first half we lacked commitment and didn’t press enough. There was a bit of a lackadaisical attitude among the players,” he said.

He added that changes made after the break improved the team’s performance, but it was not enough to recover.

“In the second half, we had to make three quick substitutions to change the dynamics of the game. We improved and played much better after the break, but Heart of Lions were already on top and ultimately secured the points at stake.”

The result moves Heart of Lions up to 10th place in the league table, while Vision FC drop to 13th with 35 points.
