Nations FC boss, Kassim Mingle has claimed his players didn't play to their usual style against giants Asante Kotoko but is still very elated since they still grinded all three maximum points.

George Asamoah Boateng's header just on the stroke of half time propelled the Eagles to a precious 0-1 win over the Reds in a herculean clash at the Baba Yara Stadium last Sunday night.

The Blues have now won their last three matches and have climbed back to second spot on the league log with fourty points, just two behind leaders Samartex FC.

In a post-match interview with Yaw Ampofo Ankrah on StarTimes, the experienced gaffer has praised his players for fighting through this tough task to grind what is a very important victory to keep them in the title race.

"I'm feeling very great that we won. The first half, I decided to study them and control them from the bench so everybody should relax and listen to instructions, where to move, where to charge and where to reposition themselves. So we were studying their system in the first half."

"My players were tactically discipline, they played to the instructions . We couldn't even play our normal game but it wasn't bad so far as we got the three points I'm ok with the performance."

Nations FC will host Great Olympics in Abrankese in match-week 25 of the Ghana Premier League.
