Ghana teenage hotshot Mark Kagawa Mensah has travelled to Sweden to begin a trial with top-flight club AIK.
The 17-year-old attacking midfielder has been training with the Stockholm-based side’s first team this week, as coaches assess his ability ahead of a possible transfer.
Kagawa, who was born in 2009, has impressed at youth level and is seen as one of Ghana’s promising young talents.
He plays a key role for the Black Starlets and helped the team qualify for the 2026 U-17 Africa Cup of Nations.

The teenager is known for his creativity, vision and control in midfield, often setting the pace of matches.
He previously trained at the Attram De Visser Soccer Academy. His performances have attracted interest from clubs in Europe, with AIK now giving him the chance to prove himself.
A successful trial could see Kagawa become the latest Ghanaian youngster to move abroad.
Meanwhile, the Black Starlets are preparing for the U-17 Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco, where they hope to qualify for the FIFA U-17 World Cup. Kagawa will be hoping to settle his club future soon so he can fully focus on the tournament.
