Ghanaian defender Terry Yegbe has undergone a successful medical examination ahead of his move to French Ligue 1 side FC Metz in the ongoing summer transfer window.
As Kickgh.com earlier reported, FC Metz has reached an agreement with Swedish Allsvenskan club IF Elfsborg in a deal worth €4 million to secure the services of the 24-year-old centre-back.
Yegbe will be signing a long-term contract with the Stade Municipal Saint-Symphorien outfit after passing the medical tests in France and he will be unveiled by the club in the coming hours.
He has featured in 18 games for IF Elfsborg in the Swedish Allsvenskan this season, scoring one goal and providing an assist in the process.
The highly-rated defender's contract with Elfsborg was to expire in December 2028 and the imminent move to the French top-tier club is a testament to his incredible performance for the past years since leaving the shores of Ghana.
He joined SJK in Finland from Ghana Premier League campaigners in 2022 before he was acquired by IF Elfsborg last year for €550,000 with a 20% resale value.

During the international break in November 2024, Ghana coach Otto Addo handed Terry Yegbe his maiden call-up ahead of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Angola and Niger.
Yegbe made his first-ever debut for the Black Stars in a 2-1 home loss to Niger at the Accra Sports Stadium.
