Dundee United midfielder Emmanuel Agyei says he is ready to play for the senior national team, the Black Stars, if given the chance.
The 21-year-old moved to the Scottish Premiership club from Israeli side Ashdod after playing 27 matches in two seasons.
Since arriving in Scotland, Agyei has quickly settled in at Dundee United. He has played eight matches so far, starting seven of them.
The former Dreams FC player has clocked 615 league minutes, making 15 interceptions and 24 clearances.

Agyei admits playing for the Black Stars comes with pressure but believes he is ready when the opportunity arrives.
“It’s not easy to wear the Black Stars jersey, so I’m waiting for that big opportunity,” he told Asempa FM.
“I am ready for a Black Stars call-up, and this is the time.”
With Ghana preparing for the 2026 FIFA World Cup in the United States, Canada and Mexico, the midfielder hopes his club form will catch the eye of the national team coaches.
“I urge Coach Otto Addo and the Ghanaian coaching team to keep an eye on my performances in the Scottish Premier League, and if I’m doing well, to give me a chance with the Black Stars.”
Dundee United are currently eighth in the league table and will face Falkirk away on Saturday, February 14.
