Ghanaian international, Enoch Adu Kofi has expressed readiness to honour Black Stars call-up for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations which will be held early next year in Cote D'Ivoire.
The 33-year-old has been playing active football in Europe for the past decade and has so much experience and exposure, having had spells in Denmark, Sweden, Turkey and currently, in Finland.
Adu Kofi's first and only Black Stars invite was in 2016 where he had the opportunity to make his debut against South Africa in an international friendly.
After another impressive season to help Finnish second-tier side EIF qualify into the topflight (Veikkausliiga) for the first time in 90 years, the mercurial midfielder has boldly expressed his readiness to honour Ghana call up for the AFCON.
He stated in an interview with Angel TV in Accra;
"I am ready to play for Ghana. I've been playing active football for the past years."
"My qualities as a midfielder will be impactful if I get the chance to be in the Black Stars squad for the next AFCON."
Coach Chris Hughton is yet to announce his squad for the continent's biggest football competition which is due to commence on January 13, 2024.
