The defender of Ghanaian descent is reportedly in contact with the Austrian top-tier campaigners in a bid to seal a move to their side this summer
Dutch-born Ghanaian right-back Solomon Bonnah could link up with Austrian Bundesliga club LASK as both parties are believed to be negotiating over a deal for the current campaign, a report from the Dutch media has indicated.
The 22-year-old, who left relegated top-flight campaigners SK Austria Klagenfurt this summer, could join the Raiffeisen Arena outfit on free transfer in the coming days as he is currently in the free agency pool.
Per Dutch football magazine Voetbal International, the former RB Leipzig defender was billed to join Dutch Eerste Divisie side ADO Den Haag on transfer deadline day but only to opt out of the move after informing their sporting director of his desire to explore his other option by talking to the Austrian top-flight side, with the development compelling them to sign Dutch defender Mees Kreekels instead.
lt is believed that Slovenian PrvaLiga side NK Celje were also in the running for his signature during the winter transfer window.
Given his Ghanaian root, Bonnah still remains fit to play for Ghana on the international stage despite playing for The Netherlands U15, U16, U17 and U19 national youth sides.
