Ghanaian player Ransford-Yeboah Konigsdorffer has expressed his dissatisfaction after Hamburger SV and Hertha Berlin drew 1-1 on Saturday in the German Bundesliga 2.
At the Volksparkstadion, the 22-year-old attacker scored in the 11th minute, giving Hamburger SV an early lead. He played the entire game.
But with four minutes left, Hertha Berlin's Jonjoe Kenny tied the score, requiring a sharing of the points between the two clubs.
Yeboah said, "We dominated the game in the first half, both on the ball and defensively. We were a bit more passive in the second, and maybe concentrated too much on holding on to that one-goal advantage."
He added, "We’ve learnt a lesson from this and we need to do better next time. It’s disappointing that we couldn’t get over the line today, but four points is okay, even if we’d obviously rather have had six."
Yeboah, who's been playing well this season, had three goals in his first two Hamburger SV games. His performance demonstrates his increasing impact at the club, even with the draw
