The Ghanaian last line of defense has inked a fresh term over extension with the Scottish elite division side until the end of the current football campaign
German-born Ghanaian goalkeeper Jordan Amissah has signed a contract extension with Scottish Premiership side Ross County FC, with the new deal set to expire at the end of the 2024-25 season.
The 23-year-old goaltender has so far lived up to his billings with the Victoria Park outfit after joining them on a short-term deal in December this year.
An official confirmation over the contract extension of the former Sheffield United youth man read: ''Ross County FC are pleased to confirm Jordan Amissah has extended his deal with the Staggies until the end of the season. Jordan, 23, has made four appearances for the club during his initial one month deal, keeping two clean sheets in that time.''
His manager Don Cowie had this to say right after tying the shot-stopper to a new deal: ''We are delighted to have Jordan extend his deal. With Ross out for a period of time we felt we needed to add competition to the goalkeeping area. Jordan has been a big part of the group and performed well in his time with us so far.''
The Ghana U-23 netminder is yet to earn his cap with the Ghana men's senior national team, the Black Stars at the international level.
