Musah Mohammed was on target in the second half as Bodrum FK fought back to earn a 2-2 draw against Erzurumspor FK in Round 17 of the Turkish 1. Lig on Sunday.
The Ghanaian midfielder struck just two minutes after the restart, unleashing a powerful right-footed effort from outside the penalty area that curled into the bottom corner to put Bodrum in front. Mohammed started the match, completed the full 90 minutes, and impressed with his composure on the ball, neat distribution, and intelligent movement, drawing loud applause from the travelling supporters.
Erzurumspor had taken an early advantage in the 8th minute when Mustafa Yumlu scored from a corner kick, a decision that was confirmed following a VAR review. Bodrum responded positively and found the equaliser before halftime through Fredy, who fired home from long range to restore parity.
Mohammed’s goal briefly turned the tide in Bodrum’s favour, but the hosts continued to apply pressure. Their persistence paid off in the 83rd minute, when Eren Tozlu rose highest to head in the equaliser.
Despite Erzurumspor dominating possession and registering more attempts on goal, Bodrum defended resolutely to secure a valuable point at the Kazım Karabekir Stadium. Bodrum FK will now turn their attention to an upcoming Turkish Cup clash against Gençlerbirliği.
