English Premier League side AFC Bournemouth have expressed keen interest in signing Ghanaian defender Abdul Mumin in the ongoing summer transfer window.
The 24-year-old, who plays for Portuguese outfit Vitoria Guimaraes, was thought to be closing in on a switch to Ligue 1 side Angers, for an initial 3million euros.
But French outlet L'Equipe now claim that move has been paused, due to interest from Turkish giants Galatasaray, Premier League duo AFC Bournemouth and Fulham.
The report states Mumin's preference would be a move to Vitality Stadium outfit this summer ahead of the other clubs.
Mumin developed at the Right to Dream academy in Ghana, before a move to Denmark with Nordsjaelland in 2016.
He progressed into their first team, making 47 appearances and also spending time out on loan at HB Koge.
Vitoria came calling in 2020, where Mumin has featured on 61 occasions, including four UEFA Europa Conference League qualifiers this summer.
Although he is yet to make his international debut, Mumin was part of Ghana's squad for this year's Africa Cup of Nations in January.
