Ghanaian striker Jordan Ayew has expressed elation on the back of netting his third goal of the season for Crystal Palace against Everton last night in the Premier League.
The Eagles gave away a goal-lead to salvage a point against the Toffees last night at the Goodison Park in an epic match-day 25 tie.
The 32-year-old last league goal was in December against Brighton but finally ended the drought after opening the scoring account on the 66th minute last night but wasn't enough as they left Merseyside with only a point in the end.
Reacting to the win, the stalwart striker stated he was practicing on how he scored that goal before the start of the game and added he was also lucky this time to have it at the back of the net.
"In the warm-up, I scored maybe five in a row, so I had a good feeling today! Sometimes things go your way, sometimes they don't go your way, but you still need to keep pushing, and that's what I've been doing throughout my whole career," he said.
"It comes sometimes. You try, try, try, it could have gone up, but this time it was successful. Today things went well for me. I thank God and I thank the team for the effort they put in. I don't want to talk too much about my goal, but the most important thing for me is the team, and we're happy to go home with a point."
Jordan Ayew currently has nine-goal involvements; having scored three and registered six assists in 25 matches in all competitions so far.
