The former Union Berlin U19 star has hinted that he could sever ties with his current employers ahead of the next summer transfer window amid strong interest from suitors during the January window
Ghana international Ransford Königsdörffer has revealed his readiness to link up with any of his interest suitors abroad as his current contract with Bundesliga outfit Hamburger SV is set to end in the summer.
The 24-year-old, who became a prime transfer target for English Championship side Middlesbrough during the winter window, is yet to be offered fresh terms over extension by the Die Rothosen amid attracting serious attention from suitors ahead of the summer.
That notwithstanding, the ex-Dynamo Dresden man has now declared that his future could now be with either his current employers or elsewhere as he hopes to continue his resurgence of form at the Volksparkstadion for the remainder of the season.
''I'd like to play abroad at some point. But I can also imagine staying here,'' the Ghanaian wideman said to the media on Tuesday. ''We should all wait and see. It could go either way,'' he added.
Ransford has so far taken in 23 games by scoring 3 for Hamburger SV across all competitions in this ongoing football season.
He currently boasts of 4 caps with the Ghana senior national team, the Black Stars since switching nationality allegiance to represent the west African superpowers at the international level.
