Ghana international Mohammed Kudus made an impressive return from injury as West Ham United played out a 2-2 draw with Bournemouth in the Premier League on Saturday.

The Black Stars midfielder was a key figure for the Hammers, playing 84 minutes and marking his comeback with an assist that helped his side secure a crucial point at the London Stadium.

Kudus had missed West Ham’s 1-0 loss to Wolves on Tuesday due to an injury setback but showed no signs of rust in his return, contributing to the team's performance.

West Ham faced an early setback when Bournemouth's Brazilian forward Evanilson put the visitors ahead in the 38th minute, leaving the hosts trailing at halftime.

The Hammers responded well in the second half, leveling the score in the 61st minute through Germany's Nicolas Füllkrug. Seven minutes later, they took the lead when Kudus provided an assist for Jarrod Bowen’s goal, making it 2-1.

However, Bournemouth fought back strongly and equalized in the 79th minute, with Evanilson netting his second goal of the match to secure a draw for the visitors.

Kudus was substituted in the 84th minute, with Brazilian Luis Guilherme taking his place.

The Ghanaian midfielder has had a challenging season, struggling to replicate his impressive form from his debut campaign. He has scored only three goals and provided three assists in 28 appearances, with a 13-match goal drought and a five-game suspension further hampering his progress.

Meanwhile, Kudus' compatriot, Antoine Semenyo, played the full 90 minutes for Bournemouth in the hard-fought encounter.
