The Italian third division side have secured the Ghanaian midfield enforcer on a permanent basis following his successful loan spell last term
Italian Serie C side SS Arezzo have announced that they have acquired Ghanaian midfielder Shaka Mawuli from Serie B outfit FC Südtirol on a permanent deal.
The 26-year-old former SPAL enforcer was tremendous for the Dark Reds in 2023/24 season and has convinced those in charge of the Stadio Città di Arezzo campaigners to tie him permanently ahead of the upcoming season.
"Shaka Mawuli remains at Arezzo. Sporting Director Nello Cutolo has reached an agreement with Sudtirol for the permanent acquisition, with the formula of loan with obligation to buy. With 35 matches played and two goals to his credit, the twenty-six year old Ghanaian midfielder was one of the protagonists of last season and for this reason the club worked to make him stay and to tie him permanently to the amaranth colours."
