West Ham United young midfielder, Keenan Appiah-Forson has exhibited huge interest in representing Ghana at national level despite having another opportunity to play for England.
The 21 year old was born in Greenwich, England, and that's where he's stayed in his entire life so far but has a Ghanaian decent.
The mercurial midfielder joined the Hammers when he was just 14, after a successful justify and has been with the club since, despite still being a fringe into the first team.
He's featured on most occasions for their youth sides but waited till December 9, 2021, to make his senior debut against Croatian giants Dinamo Zagreb in the UEFA Europa League after coming on as a substitute to replace Sonny Perkins on the 87th minute.
In a one on one interview with ace sports journalist Saddick Adam, Keenan said discussions has already been held and will honor any Ghana call up in future.
“We have held talks about me playing for Ghana together with my parents. I have actually thought about this, and I have always said if I get the call up from Ghana, I will always take it."
Keenan Appiah-Forson just recently in 2022 was awarded with a new year deal with an option to extend.
