Dan Agyei has reiterated his desire to represent Ghana at international level, insisting he remains ready and committed to the Black Stars if handed an opportunity.
The 27-year-old Kocaelispor forward revealed he has kept the door open since holding talks with Ghanaian officials in 2018, stressing it would be a huge honour to wear the national colours.
"It would be an honour to represent my country, Ghana. I'm a proud Ghanaian and grew up watching the Black Stars," Agyei told Sportsworldghana.com in an exclusive interview.
"Ever since I spoke with former management back in 2018, I've been open and ready to play. I've always been keen to contribute, and if the opportunity comes and I am called upon, I'd give everything for the shirt."
Agyei, who joined the Turkish side on a two-year deal in June 2025 after leaving Leyton Orient, has scored four goals in 21 league appearances this season.
With Ghana national football team preparing for international friendlies against Austria and Germany ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup, Agyei has made his intentions clear to head coach Otto Addo — he is available and ready to give everything for the shirt.
