The under siege gaffer believes his side's mangling by the European nation in yesterday's friendly encounter is down to his defensive setup jitteriness and has called for an immediate remedy in their next game on Monday
Ghana coach Otto Addo has pointed accusing fingers at his defensive department for their 5-1 heavy defeat to Austria in their Pre-World Cup friendly match on Friday.
The four-time African champions were disfigured by their opponent at the Ernst Happel Stadium in Vienna, Austria much to the disappointment of the under-fire manager.
However, the tough-talking tactician has now attributed the heavy loss to defensive problems given the goals conceded through the backline positions on the field of play.
Speaking in a post-Austria game press conference, the Dortmund talent nurturing gaffer said via the Ghanafa.org:''Defensively, we have problems. We have to be stable especially psychological. The third goal, we still have to keep our head up, keep the intensity. I can understand that the players were disappointed. But these are the situations where we still need to step up. We have to overcome this. Let's talk about the defence. The first two goals were easy. In goal 3, 4 and 5, there was a lot of defensive issues. We have to work on that psychologically. The next step is to stay strong and stay focused. The players have to focus. Stay focused so that this doesn't happen again.''
