Head coach of Black Princesses, Yussif Basigi has confessed their performance hasn't been the best but strongly believes they will find their rhythm subsequently as they still have their sights on nothing but the trophy.
Ghana booked a place into the semi final in women football in the ongoing African Games after coming from behind to beat Tanzania 2-1 at the Cape Coast Stadium last Tuesday evening.
Aisha Juma opened the scoring account for the Tanzanians before goals from Tracey Twum and Abdulai Mukarama in both halves completed the fightback.
Speaking after the game, Basigi admitted his girls looked very jittery especially in the first half but settled down and gathered their momentum later to claim the three points.
The experienced gaffer further stated that, their quest to winning the trophy is still on course and is very optimistic they will do just that for Ghanaians.
"We want to win that's why we are competing. You may see the team as not stable. We have some challenges but we are managing and I know we will find out rhythm that is why we were a bit shaky in the first half because when you don't have a compliment of the team and you keep changing, this what happens but as and when we progress, they will come up."
"So our mission is still on course. I'm using this particular exercise as a preparatory face for the World Cup so for me it is giving me fair idea of some players I may need and some I may not so I think it's a very good one for me."
The Black Princesses will wrap up the first round against Uganda on Friday, March 15.
