Wilson Arthur, the owner of Skyy FC, is pondering a significant decision regarding his financial support for club football.

He's troubled by what he sees as dishonesty among referees, prompting him to reconsider his involvement in the sport.

Arthur voiced his frustration during an interview with Akoma FM, highlighting a series of unfavorable rulings his team faced in the Division One League. He believes approximately eight referees deliberately favored their opponents, leading to controversial decisions that harmed Skyy FC.

"After 22 games in Division One, I can say that approximately eight referees came specifically to sabotage my team. Everything about the way they officiated the game suggested that the referee was there to hurt me," Arthur expressed.

Feeling disheartened by these repeated incidents, Arthur admitted to contemplating withdrawal from club football, questioning the value of his investment. He mentioned former football figures like Tony Yeboah and Kessben, who walked away due to similar frustrations with referees.

Despite lodging complaints with the football association, Arthur claimed to have received no satisfactory response, deepening his disillusionment with the sport. Additionally, instances of vandalism, such as the destruction of his iPad, and physical attacks on his coach by opponents, have heightened his concerns.

Arthur reflected on his journey in club football and concluded that continuing to pour resources into the sport might not yield the desired outcomes. He feels marginalized in the current environment, prompting him to consider exploring alternative ventures.

Skyy FC's current standing in Zone 2 of the Division One league sees them placed sixth, with 34 points accumulated so far.
