Asante Kotoko coach, Prosper Ogum, has indicated that his players were not in their utmost best and struggled to find their rhythm in their 1-1 draw to Bechem United on Sunday.
The Porcupine Warriors luckily managed to secure the draw stalemate against the Hunters at the Baba Yara Stadium in the Matchweek 27 clash.
Kotoko recovered from a Darlvin Yaboah's 69th minute goal to split the three points. Attacker Albert Amoah fired the leveller in the 80th minute through a spot kick, after being awarded a controversial penalty.
However, Ogum has indicated that his team couldn't find their rhythm against Bechem United but is not too worried about the result, as his priority was to avoid defeat which his charges executed well.
"It was a nice game. I think Bechem came defensively to stay low and then go on counter. They tried to put a lot of men behind the ball that made it very difficult for us to penetrate but then, we tried a few times and we were able to unlock it but we couldn’t score. It was a good game," he stated.
"Bechem United is a very good side but I think we didn’t find our rhythm, we didn’t find our flow and I think that is the main reason," Ogum added.
