Asante Kotoko head coach, Prosper Narteh Ogum has admitted they weren't at their best against Bechem United - whom he described as a very a very good and well organized side.

The Hunters really gave a very good account of themselves by holding the Porcupine Warriors to a pulsating 1-1 draw in an epic week 27 clash at the Ghana Premier League last Sunday.

After a barren first-half, Darlvin Yeboah finally broke the deadlock for Bechem with a powerful close range header having most of their chances dealt with by goalkeeper Frederick Asare.

The 'Kum Apem' lads in the closing moments of the game found the equalizer from the spot-kick which was converted by Albert Amoah.

In a post-match presser, Ogum said it was a nice game and very tough as well since they couldn't stick to their plan and that's because of how good their opponents were in the game.

“It was a nice game. I think Bechem came defensively to stay low and then go on counter. They tried to put a lot men behind the ball that made it very difficult for us to penetrate but then, we tried few times and we were able to unlock it but we couldn’t score. It was a good game” he said.

“Bechem United is a very good side but I think we didn’t find our rhythm, we didn’t find our flow and I think that is the main reason."

Asante Kotoko despite failing to win their last two matches are still leading the table with 47 points and will travel to Accra Lions in the midweek.
