Eleven Wonders CEO Stephen Puro has set the tone for the club’s long-term ambitions, declaring their intent to establish themselves as a permanent force in the Ghana Premier League (GPL)—much like regional heavyweights Aduana Stars and Berekum Chelsea.

In a recent interview with Sunyani-based Sompa FM, Puro revealed that the club’s return to the GPL is not just about survival but about creating a legacy of consistency, professionalism, and competitive relevance.

“We don’t want to be a club that goes up and down,” he stated. “Our aim is to cement our place in the top flight just like Aduana and Berekum Chelsea have done over the years. That level of stability is what we’re working toward.”

Puro’s mention of Aduana and Berekum Chelsea is no coincidence. Both clubs, rooted in the Bono and Ahafo regions like Eleven Wonders, have built solid reputations over time—not only by staying in the top division but also by competing for titles and qualifying for continental tournaments.

After securing promotion back to the GPL last Friday after defeating RTU 2-1 in the Division One League playoff, Eleven Wonders are already taking concrete steps to ensure they don’t repeat the mistakes that led to their relegation in 2022.

According to checks, the club is focusing on structural stability, including investment in a strong technical team, youth development, and financial discipline.

Kickgh.com further understands that the 'Sure Wonder' preseason preparations will also be more structured than in previous years, with friendly matches, fitness assessments, and tactical drills designed to raise standards ahead of the 2025/26 GPL campaign.
