Arsenal has reportedly rejected a loan offer for Ghanaian midfielder Thomas Partey. According to information from Turkish journalist Yakup Çınar, Galatasaray proposed a loan deal for Partey to Arsenal, but the North London club declined the offer.

The report suggests that despite Partey's willingness to join the Turkish team, Arteta opted to retain the player and turned down the loan deal.

Thomas Partey, who joined Arsenal in 2020 from Atletico Madrid on a five-year deal, still has two years remaining on his contract with the club.

Earlier this summer, there were rumors that Partey might be on Arsenal's transfer list following the acquisition of Declan Rice from West Ham United. However, Arteta dismissed any potential transfer for Partey, emphasizing his importance to the team.

During the club's pre-season in the USA, Arteta stated, "I expect Thomas Partey to stay here. Every time I spoke to him and had a conversation with him, he’s ready to stay with us. For me, there’s nothing there at all."

In the 2023/2024 Premier League season, Partey has already participated in Arsenal's first two matches. Despite being utilized in an unusual right-back position, Partey has left a significant impression with his performances for the team.
