The German second-tier outfit have completed the signing of the highly-rated centre-forward from FC St. Gallen in the ongoing summer transfer window.
Ghanaian attacker Kwadwo Duah has officially joined FC Nurnberg on a long-term contract from Swiss top-tier club FC St. Gallen.
The 24-year-old signed a multi-year contract with Bundesliga II side after passing a mandatory medical examination earlier today.
Duah had an incredible campaign last term with FC St. Gallen in Switzerland where he notched 18 goals and provided six assists in 39 matches in all competitions.
The club's official statement reads “The club has a new striker. Shortly before the start of the training camp (from June 26th to July 3rd in Natz/Schabs) a new face appeared at the Valznerweiher today. The sporting director of 1. FC Nürnberg has signed Kwadwo Duah from the Swiss Super League after he successfully passed his medical check and provided him with a long-term contract.”
The London-born striker, who is eligible to represent Ghana despite playing for the Swiss at the youth levels, was acquired by Max Morlock Stadion outfit in a multi-year deal worth €700,000.
“The club has been trying hard for me for a year. I had the best feeling here, that's why I chose the club. I'm looking forward to the fans, to the stadium and to scoring goals here." Duah told the club's official website after sealing the move.
