The 22-year-old defender had an incredible campaign with SV Darmstadt 98 in the German Bundesliga II last term after aiding them to finish fourth on the log.
He scored one goal in his 32 game outings for the Blue and White lads in all competitions last season.
Pfeiffer is a product of the Humburg SV after rising through the ranks to earn promotion to the senior team before his transfer to SV Darmstadt 98 in 2019.
He joined SV Darmstadt 98 on a long-term contract worth €250,000. His current contract with the Bundesliga II campaigners will expire next summer.
Pfeiffer is expected to be included in Otto Addo's squad list for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers double-header against Angola before the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
