The 20-year-old highly-rated midfielder has expressed his excitement over his switch to Watford after signing a long-term contract with the Championship club.
English Championship side Watford FC on Monday, announced the signing of Belgian-born Ghanaian midfielder Pierre Dwomoh from Belgian side Royal Antwerp in the ongoing summer transfer window.
Dwomoh signed a four-year contract after passing a mandatory medical examination earlier today to become Tom Cleverley's eighth signing at Vicarage Road this summer.
"I'm very happy to be here, it's a big club," Dwomoh told the club's official website in an interview.
"I'm happy that I'll be able to soon show what I'm able to do on the field.
"I'm technical, I like duels, I like to run as well. I like to help my teammates, I like to jump in and just be there for them."
The Belgian youth international spent last season on loan at RWD Molenbeek in his home country, making 33 appearances in all competitions.
Dwomoh's eighth club at age 20
Hus move to Watford FC in England becomes his eighth club in his football career at age 20.
At the youth level, Dwomoh began his career at KV Mechelen before joining RSC Anderlecht, and later KRC Genk, where he was offered a professional contract.
His explosive performances at the KRC Genk youth side attracted interest from several clubs in Europe, including AC Milan, Lazio, FC Porto, Leicester City, and Inter Milan, but Royal Antwerp won the race to sign him for €2 million.
He has had loan spells with SC Braga and KV Oostende before his most recent spell with RWD Molenbeek in the Belgian Jupiler Pro League.
Potential nationality switch to Ghana in future
Pierre Dwomoh, who was born to Ghanaian parents in Belgium, is still eligible to play for the West African nation despite playing for the Belgians at youth levels.
He has already represented Belgium at the U-15, U-16, U-17, and U-18 levels and is currently a key member of the Belgium U-21 team.
