Razak will be featuring for the Sparta Rotterdam reserve side as part of his developmental process, and he'll subsequently be draughted into its feeder club, Jong Sparta, next season.
Khaled Razak is one of the talents to watch out
Razak progressed through the youth ranks of Willem II and PSV before making his debut for the Tricolores at the age of 17 in the Keuken Kampioen Divisie match against VVV-Venlo.
He made thirteen first-team appearances at Willem II before joining Roda JC on loan midway through last season. In Limburg, Razak made nine appearances and scored his first professional goal.
Sparta Rotterdam technical director Gerard Nijkamp explained the club's decision to secure the signature of the Tilburg-born player of Ghanaian descent and the plan to see him gain promotion to the first team.
"This summer, signing a right winger was Jong Sparta's top priority. We believe we've found the right player in Khaled. At nineteen, Khaled is still a talent, but he already has 19 professional matches under his belt. Khaled will join Jong Sparta next season, although he has the potential to become a senior squad player in the long term," said Gerard Nijkamp.
Razak, who was born to Ghanaian parents in the Netherlands, is eligible to represent either Ghana or the Netherlands in the future.
