Former Ghana international Prince Tagoe was given a special welcome following his return to Saudi Arabia, where he visited his former club Al Ettifaq FC.

Tagoe spent two years at the Saudi topflight club during his playing days between 2007 to 2009 and played an instrumental role in their 2009 AFC Champions League campaign, netting an impressive eight goals in six matches. 

Tagoe was presented with a plaque of recognition and an Al-Ettifaq jersey during the visit.

In a strategic move, Al Ettifaq FC has engaged Tagoe in discussions regarding a potential collaboration, exploring the possibility of appointing him as a scout for talented young footballers in Africa.

 

Tagoe will represent the club in this region to contribute to the growth of their youth academy.

Tagoe will be at the Prince Mohamed bin Fahd Stadium to watch Al-Ettifaq and Cristiano Ronaldo's Al-Nassr on Friday.
