Dreams FC coach Abdul Karim Zito is gearing up for a challenging showdown as his team prepares to face Hearts of Oak in matchday 21 of the Ghana Premier League.
The Still Believe lads were initially set to host the Phobians at the Theater of Dreams in Dawu. However, due to ongoing renovation works at the venue, the match has been relocated to the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi.
Expressing his thoughts ahead of the game, Zito acknowledged the formidable challenge posed by Hearts of Oak. He lamented the unfortunate circumstance that prevented Dreams FC from hosting the match on their home turf.
Zito highlighted concerns over the poor condition of the Dawu stadium pitch, attributing the venue change to inadequate maintenance.
“It will be a tough game but it just unfortunate we won’t be able to play on home turf (Dawu) because of the state of the pitch now. The state of the Dawu stadium is not good at all and I think those in charge of the field did not do a good” he said.
Despite the setback, Dreams FC remains focused on securing a positive result against their formidable opponents.
Currently occupying the 11th position on the Ghana Premier League table with 25 points, Dreams FC aims to continue their quest for success in the league.
