Renowned Ghanaian coach Yussif Basigi has set his sights on winning the Tanzanian Women’s League title in his new role as head coach of Simba Queens.
The former Hasaacas Ladies head coach was officially unveiled by the Tanzanian women's club and revealed the ambitious target assigned to him by the club’s management.
“My target is to win the [Tanzanian Women’s] league with Simba Queens before thinking about the African Champions League,” Coach Basigi shared in an interview with GHOne Sports.
Additionally, Basigi highlighted the differences between his previous club, Hasaacas Ladies, and his new team. He praised the superior facilities at Simba Queens compared to what was available at Hasaacas.
“I had to improvise with Hasaacas, but Simba Queens have almost everything in terms of facilities, so I will need them to be professional,” he said.
