
South Korean outfit Chungbuk Cheongju FC have confirmed the signing of Ghanaian striker Sadam Sulley after leaving Japanese side FC Ryukyu.
The 27-year-old has joined the K League 2, the second tier of South Korean football outfit on a long-term deal ahead of the new football season.
“Chungbuk Cheongju FC has signed a striker Saddam Sulli from Ghana. Sadam, who weighs 191cm 88kg, boasts his ability to fight and airball competition based on a solid physique. Munjeon's ability to possess the ball and decisiveness are good,” the club confirmed on their social media pages.
"Saddam Sulli's registered name is Saddam, and his back number is 35."
After signing the dotted lines, Sadam expressed his joy and readiness to bang-in the goals when the new season starts.
"I'm happy to come to Korea and start with Chungbuk Cheongju FC. Excited to meet fans and teammates and excited for my first challenge in Korea. As a striker, I think scoring goals is the most important thing. I will do my best to score many goals and help the team go higher."
Sulley is an attacker with big potential, as he showcased for FC Ryukyu in the J3 League during his one-year stint at the club.

Highly-rated Ghanaian teenager Mike Aidoo has made his debut for Italian giants Inter Milan. The 19-year-old featured in a preseason friendly against Spanish side Las Palmas, where Inter Milan secured a 3-0 victory.
Aidoo entered the match as a substitute, coming on in the 82nd minute to replace defender Yann Aurel Bisseck. His appearance marked a significant milestone in his career, as he stepped onto the field alongside some of football’s top talents.
Reflecting on his debut, Aidoo shared his excitement: "It was a very unique moment, something you always dream about, and thanks to God I had the opportunity to get on the field and share it with big players."
He also spoke highly of Inter Milan’s manager, Simone Inzaghi. "Simone Inzaghi is a really good coach. He just motivates you to do well and he just says to play how you do and be concentrated all the time," Aidoo said. He appreciated the support from Inzaghi, noting, "He congratulated us boys that came in and he was just happy for all the team and the team performance."
Aidoo had been training with Inter Milan’s first team last season while playing in the Italian Primavera 1 youth league. His debut with the senior team is seen as a promising step in his development and a sign of his potential to make a significant impact at the club.

Ghanaian winger Abdul Hakim Sulemana has shared his excitement about joining Danish Superliga club Randers FC, expressing eagerness to demonstrate his skills. Sulemana, a promising 19-year-old talent, signed a two-year contract with Randers FC after leaving French Ligue 1 club Olympique Lyonnais.
Sulemana, whose elder brother Kamaldeen Sulemana plays for Southampton, transferred from Lyon following his participation in the 2023 African Games. "First and foremost, I am very happy to have landed in Randers. It is a good club that is skilled at developing players," Sulemana remarked after his signing was announced.
The young winger feels at home at Randers, partly due to familiar faces. "I know Fatah from Right to Dream, so it's also nice to have people here that I already know and have worked with," he explained.
