The Cairo-based club will take on Rivers United at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium in Uyo on Sunday evening. The fifth-round fixture carries significance despite Pyramids already being well positioned in the group.
Pyramids’ delegation is set to depart on Friday, travelling directly to Nigeria aboard a private aircraft arranged by the club’s management, underscoring their commitment to ensuring optimal preparation ahead of the away clash.
The squad named for the trip includes several new signings, along with the welcome return of key players such as goalkeeper Awda Fakhoury, defender Pascal Ferreira, and midfielders Nasser Maher and Hamed Hamdan, all of whom strengthen the team’s options for the encounter.
